Small Area Population Estimates Working Group

The SAPE Working Group is a consultative group concerned with the development of a set of small area population estimates for Scotland. The purpose of the group is to assist the National Records of Scotland (NRS) to:

• Develop a set of small area population estimates consistent with the mid-year estimates
• Quality assure these estimates to ensure that they are of a high quality
