Mid-2007 Population Estimates Scotland

After publication small errors were found in tables 3 and 10. In table 3, the total number of males in West Lothian Council area and Western Isles NHS Board area were missing and this in turn led to an incorrect Scotland total number of males. In table 10, the population shown for the NHS Board areas were incorrect and this resulted in small inaccuracies in the number of persons per square kilometre in certain NHS Board areas. As of the end of August 2008, these errors have been corrected.
