Life Expectancy for Administrative Areas within Scotland,
2002-2004

Life expectancy results for administrative areas within Scotland, 2002-2004 were published by the Registrar General for Scotland on 6 October 2005. This is the first publication dedicated to life expectancy and it is intended to be produced annually.

The files below have been made available as Excel spreadsheets and can be viewed in Comma Separated Value (CSV) or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF).

When opening the spreadsheet files your browser, depending on how it's been configured, will prompt to either open the file or save it to disk. Maximum file size is 70 Kb.

Note: On 27 July 2007 the Mid-year population estimates for 2003-2006 were revised for the 6 Council areas of Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus, Dundee City, Moray and Perth & Kinross. Subsequently, this publication has been revised using these estimates. More details on the "Revised Mid-year Population Estimates 2003-2006" are available from this website.
