This report details the work carried out in July 2007 on comparing population estimates based on Data Zones and Output Areas to estimates based on Postcodes.
Population estimates were compared for:
The Data Zone and Output Area based populations were compared to the Postcode based populations (which were assumed to be the most accurate) to check the relative accuracy of populations based on Data Zones and/or Output Areas.
