This bulletin presents the Registrar General's provisional figures for vital events registered during the period 1 April 2007 to 30 June 2007. A news release titled 'Increase in births and decrease in deaths' accompanies this report.

Rates for 1997-2000 are based on revised population estimates for 1997-2000, which took account of the final Census-based population estimates for 2001.
