Since the date of publication there have been revisions made to the mid-year population estimates for 2003-2006 for six of Scotland's 32 council areas. As a result, a small number of tables and charts in this report (Table 1.1, Figures 1.5, 1.21, 1.28 and 1.36 and Table 2 in Appendix 1) are now out of date.
