General Information on Our Statistics

Demography Division Statistics Plan 2009-10

We are responsible for publishing a wide range of statistics on the population and households in Scotland. The Demography Division Statistics Plan 2009-10 highlights our priorities, publications and improvement activities for 2009-10.

It also reports on progress we made against last year’s plan (The Scottish Statistics Plan 2008-09 Population and Migration).

Our statistics planning is a continuous process and we place strong emphasis on taking into account the views of the people who use our data. Details of how to provide us with comments are included in the introduction to the plan.
