Errors within this edition

1. We regret that there are minor errors in some of the figures in Table 2 of Appendix 1 - please see the note Error in Table 2 of Appendix 1.

2. There are labelling errors in Table 9.3 and in the paragraph that precedes it, in Chapter 9 of Scotland's Population 2008. The label for the rows of the table and the text refer to the local authority area of occurrence but the figures in the table are based on the area of residence.
