Welcome to the National Records of Scotland (NRS) Geography web pages where you can access and download digital products that support the use of geography in developing statistics.

Geography is key to virtually all National Statistics and provides the structure for collecting, processing and aggregating data. There are many different geographic unit types (administrative, health, electoral, postcode etc.) and their boundaries do not align.
