Data Sharing and Linkage Service (DSLS)
Following consultation in 2012 on the aims, benefits and challenges to data linking, a new Scotland-wide Data Sharing and Linkage Service (DSLS) is being developed.
Operating within the Scottish Government Data Linkage Framework
under the direction of a new Governing Board, the DSLS will be delivered through collaboration between NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and National Records of Scotland (NRS).
A technical consultation on the design of a proposed data sharing and linkage service was conducted during April and May 2013. The results of this technical consultation are now available.
The following paper has been produced by outside parties. It has technical data that is not always possible to explain in plain English.
