In 2001, Royal Mail delivered all the forms for Scotland, England and Wales, and Northern Ireland to an initial processing centre at Runcorn, Cheshire. Over about a month a total of more than 30,000,000 forms of various kinds arrived at the centre from every part of the United Kingdom.
