The 2009 Census Rehearsal evaluation report reviews the outcome of the 2009 Census Rehearsal and includes a number of recommendations that will be taken forward into strategies and procedures for the 2011 Census.
The report is delivered on two levels:
Level 1 (Executive Summary) (PDF 70 Kb) provides:
Level 2 (26 individual work package evaluation reports)
Each of these reports contains specific lessons learned and associated recommendations for 2011.
Please see the Glossary (PDF 42 Kb) for a quick reference guide to any acronyms used in the evaluation reports.
Census rehearsals were also held in England, Wales and Northern Ireland during 2009. Evaluations of these will be published in due course by their organisers: the Office for National Statistics and the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency.
