Census Area Statistics (CAS) and Census Area Statistics Theme (CAST) Tables for 2007 Wards (Multi Member Wards)

The Census Area Statistics (CAS) and Census Area Statistics Theme (CAST) tables at multi-member ward level are now available.

GROS are providing the data in CSV format by name and the data can be accessed from a link on the Home page of the Scottish Census Results OnLine (SCROL) website.

Tables CAS008, CAS009 and CAS010 contain information on travel or migration.  As they rely on elements being provided by other Census offices they have not been made available in the first instance.

In addition tables CAS203, CAST07 and CAST08 contain information on Ethnicity or Religion which are part of a future exercise to include them on the main SCROL website.

Tables CAS053, CAS054, CAST01 and CAST02 have a technical fault which could not be resolved before the publication date. We hope to make these available along with the final release of the multi-member ward level tables.

All 2001 Census data is being produced for the new 2007 Wards on a roll out basis.

• Key Statistics (KS) tables published on 4^th April 2007;
  
• Univariate (UV) tables published on 2^nd May 2007;
  
• Standard (S) tables published on 31^st August 2007;
  
• Theme (T) tables published on 31^st October 2007;
  
• Census Area Statistics (CAS) and Census Area Statistics Theme (CAST) published on 28^th November 2007.

All remaining tables (mainly travel and migration Tables) will be made available in spring 2008.
